DESIGN ADVICE
Just starting to work on your design or unsure of the current plans? I have worked on hundreds of jobs across London as well as doing the designs for my own developments. I can advise you on the options available to you, details/finishes you might not have considered and their implications on the build, budget and programme.
CONSULTANT APPOINTMENT
Looking for a reliable and reputable architect or structural engineer? I can assist with contacts and liaison to help you appoint the right person for your job. With my experice and background I can also offer informal review of these drawings to make sure you are getting the best results.
PLANNING ADVICE & HELP
Want to know what you could acheive or just confused by the local policies? Planning policy can be confusing at the best of times and the different interpretations and processes across the London Boroughs even more frustrating. Having been through this many times and even successfully appealed the planning decision on my own house, I know how it feels! I can help you navigate this minefield to get a solution that works for you.
TENDER SPECIFICATION
Having trouble writing a detailed specification to send to builders or have no idea where to start? I will sit down with you to discuss your options and preferences and in conjunction with your plans can write this up as a detailed specification ready to tender. I can also review and compare any tender submissions to avoid any hidden costs or nasty surprises later on.
CONTRACTOR APPOINTMENT
Finding a good, trustworthy contractor is perhaps one of the most stressful aspects of residential building works. I have a network of contacts that I have worked with for years and am happy to recommend. Together we can find the right one to fit your requirements.
ON-SITE MONITORING
How do you know if its going well or being done properly? Once work starts on site I can visit to monitor the progress and quality of work to ensure the project is on track, on budget and up to standard. I can also help with communication with your builder to make sure you are kept in the loop and know what is required of you.
